I absolutely love working with people with dementia. I’ve worked with people at all stages of Alzheimer’s, Primary Progressive Aphasia, and Lewy Body Dementia, and loved (almost) every minute of it.
     My dementia support mainly consists of companion care and assistance with daily activities, either at home or in a facility, to provide respite for caregivers.Dementia Care priorities:
• Maximize dignity, independence, quality of life, and fun!
• Personal engagement to keep the mind and body active
• Reduce caregiver burnout and fatigue
